The Ship's Cargo Shop Fair - 2001
Comments from the Fair...

Bob and I enjoyed the cargo fair so much. The food was delicious and the displays were wonderful.

I personally feel that the cooperation of everyone in the church in doing whatever they felt they wanted to do to help out made for the success of this fair. From setup to break-down and all the preparation through the selling of the items was done in a spirit of cooperation and togetherness for our church and its people and its programs.

The addition of the food tent and the massive display of flower arrangements helped us reach a "critical mass."...they were a significant draw to prospective customers and helped create a shoppers environment.

I worked all day selling books.

I met a couple who belong to the same church as my parents did in West Newfield. We had a nice chat about the town and some of the people who still live there.

I also met a young woman who used to live in the very same apartment house that our son Bob lives in now in Soho, NY city.

What a small world!!! I really enjoy talking with the people who visit the fair.
