2002 Harvest Fair is Grand Success
by Alice Bruton

Thank you, thank you, thank you one and all for your generous contributions, hard work, and wonderful fellowship.

It was a financial success, particularly the amount taken in for the bell ornaments. The sale of the ornaments was a big hit with everyone and the proceeds will be used to purchase bells for the bell ringers choir we plan to have next year.

If you do not have yours yet you will have an opportunity to purchase one (or a dozen) in the next few weeks for Christmas gifts.

The luncheon was delicious with Chef Bob's squash soup and breads and Elaine, Jim and Joan's hard work both before and during the lunch.

The flower arrangements were spectacular and so colorful. They add so much to the fair. Thank you Donna and Druscilla and all the women who put their creative talents to work last Thursday evening.

Thank you to all the women who worked on the tables all day and who filled in for part of the day.

Thank you to all the women and men who helped set-up and break down the fair and put everything away and clean up.  Also to the young ladies who acted as personal shoppers for the very young children and who helped with the Coffee Corner - Laura, Elizabeth, and Katherine Hand and Julie Merriam.
