Senior Choir
The Senior Choir is true church ministry. This choir is for anyone
Junior High age and older. The group sings almost every Sunday and
rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
The rewards are numerous:
-doing something
you love while building the church's ministry
-being warmly
received
-being part of a
rewarding fellowship
-singing a broad
range of music
Adroit music reading is not necessary.
Hesitate no longer.
Youth and Cherub Choirs
There are two children's choirs at the church. The
Cherub Choir meets Sunday mornings from 9:15 to about 9:40 a.m. The age
for this group is four-year-olds through first graders. They sing
for all Holy Days as well as every six weeks.
The Youth Choir ranges from second grade through
fifth grade. There are about 12 children in this group and they rehearse
each Sunday directly following the church service, from 11:15 to 11:45.
They sing once a month and for Holy Days as well. The choir gave their first performance at the 10
o’clock service on October 27, 2002. The group sang two
selections – ‘For The Beauty of the Earth’
and ‘Lord of the Dance’ (arranged.
by John Rutter).
Chime Choir
The Church also has a Chime Choir, which rehearses
on Thursday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. This group has youth and
adults in its membership and plays for services every six weeks. An
ability to read music is helpful.
If you're interested in playing or singing with any
of our groups, please contact Beryl Samia,
our Music Director and Organist.
